EBC Restorer is a professional restoration cleaner designed to replace traditional hazardous acid products while still delivering serious cleaning power on tough exterior stains. Often referred to as a “safe acid,” EBC Restorer is formulated to tackle mineral deposits, efflorescence, rust staining, and tire marks on a wide range of surfaces – including concrete, brick, pavers, tile, stone, and more.

Recommended Dilution Ratios

Always test in an inconspicuous area first. Adjust stronger/weaker based on soil level and surface sensitivity.

Light Cleaning / Light Restoration

• Dilution: 20:1 (water : EBC Restorer)

Moderate Cleaning / Restoration

• Dilution: 10:1

Heavy Cleaning / Restoration

• Dilution: 5:1

Application Instructions (By Use Case)

1) General Surface Restoration (Concrete, Pavers, Brick, Stone)

Best for: dull concrete, mild staining, general restoration cleaning

1. Pre-wet the surface

2. Apply Restorer at 10:1 to 20:1 using a pump sprayer or downstream/X-Jet setup

3. Allow short dwell time (do not let dry)

4. Surface clean or pressure wash rinse thoroughly

5. Rinse well to neutralize and remove residues

2) Tire Marks on Concrete

Light to Medium Tire Marks

1. Apply 10:1 to 15:1 directly onto tire marks

2. Immediately pressure wash (wand or surface cleaner)

3. Repeat if necessary

Heavy Tire Marks / Deep Tire Burns

1. Apply 5:1 to 8:1 directly on affected areas

2. Rinse with pressure washer immediately after application

3. Repeat as needed for deep burns

3) Rust Stain Removal (Light / Surface Rust)

1. Pre-wet the area before application

2. Apply Restorer up to 1:1 (equal parts water and Restorer)

3. Allow product to work—rust will dissolve gradually

4. Agitate if needed for heavier staining

5. Rinse thoroughly with pressure washer

For vertical surfaces, rust removal typically works from top down without harsh corrosive fumes.

4) Efflorescence & Mineral Deposits

Best for: brick/paver whitening, mineral haze, irrigation stains

1. Pre-wet the surface

2. Apply at 10:1 (moderate) or 5:1 (heavy deposits)

3. Allow short dwell (keep surface wet—do not allow drying)

4. Pressure wash rinse thoroughly

5. Repeat on heavy deposits as needed
